17th Annual Swinging Fore the ARC
The ARC of the Treasure Coast’s Chairty Celebrity Pro-Am was the Ace-in-the-hole for the organization’s 17th Annual Swinging Fore the ARC Golf Tournament.
Golfers teed up for a beautiful day on the links at the Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club in Palm City. They were there to raise money for ARC of the Treasure Coast, a local charity assisting and supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
The winning team included Rhett Butler, Kerry O’Donoghue, Scott Squire, John Berthea, and (Pro) Matt Doyle. Thanks to all the teams who participated. And thank you to all our sponsors who made the event such a great success.
This event helps fund the services provided by ARC of the Treasure Coast including summer camps and After-School programs for children, day training programs, community inclusion services, transportation, intensive behavioral services, and Advanced Employment Services for adults.

10th Annual ARC KDW Fishing Tournament
Fishing, fun and festivity. That’s what folks experienced at the ARC of the Treasure Coast’s 10th Annual KDW Offshore Fishing Tournament held last month at the Pirate’s Cove Resort and Marina in Stuart.
After postponing the event for two weeks due to weather, anglers were ready to reel in the biggest kingfish, dolphin, wahoo, grouper, and snapper for cash prizes up to $10,000.
- Kingfish king and first place bragging rights went to Jim Hathway for reeling in a 19.6- pounder.
- Bryce Alkire took home the biggest dolphin at 5.65 lbs.
- The wahoo winner is Ryan McComas for his 16.22 lbs. catch.
- Travis Scott is the snapper superstar with his 14.9- pounder.
- The Lady Angler winner is Karlee Aultman for her 3.94-pound dolphin.
- And the Junior Angler prize was awarded to Caleb Buys for his 10.48-pound snapper.

Money raised from the tournament supports ARC of the Treasure Coast’s programs and services for more than 1,000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Proceeds from the 10th Annual ARC KDW Fishing Tournament benefit children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the Treasure Coast. Thank you for helping us in our mission by contributing to this worthy cause.
